What is it?

IP analysis allows identifying which users are accessing the same activity within the same IP point. This service allows identifying if two or more users are carrying out an activity from the same place and alerts the client if both users have coincided in time.

How does it work?

The IP is collected by Smowltech together with the rest of the information of the monitoring packages and is part of the activity report presented to the client indicating:

  • Users who have accessed from the same IP point.

  • Alert if these users have coincided in time.

Two users can be college roommates who are sharing an apartment. Or they may be conducting the activity on the college campus or office. Our results report allows you to consider how shared IPs are affected or not.

How is the report?

If we detect that two users have accessed with the same IP, it will appear in the individual report for each user. In addition, it will indicate if there has been temporary concurrence.

In the event that you have not shared an IP with any user, this will not be reflected in the report.
