How does the registration work?
Before your first monitored exam, you need to register on our platform. Access the SMOWL registration link within your virtual campus, the same place where you will take the exam.
You can find the registration link on your virtual campus, and your institution may require you to show your identification document.
The link location can vary by platform, so consult your teaching staff if you're uncertain.
You can check within your course for the SMOWL tool. Below are some of the most common ways to find the registration link.

Once located, you can initiate the registration process from any device: computer, tablet, or smartphone.

We recommend registering well ahead of your first monitored exam
Register once from your course, and it's valid for all monitored activities on your virtual campus.
Before you start
If you don't register before starting the activity, the process will automatically initiate when you first access the supervised activity.
Our system adapts based on your institution’s chosen monitoring plan. If camera monitoring or ID capture isn't required, the photo step will be omitted.
Registration steps
Complete your information (if required by your institution):
Name and surname.
Email address.
Accept the terms and conditions of monitoring by SMOWLTECH. Contact your institution if you have questions.
Image capture (if required by your institution):
Allow camera access.
Follow positioning recommendations before capturing the photo.
Align your face to the circle and click "Capture."
If accepted, proceed. You'll receive instructions if there are issues.
Identity document capture (if required by your institution):
Choose "identity document" or "passport."
Center the document and press "Capture Front Side."
Center the document and press "Capture Back Side."
Correctly capture both sides of your identity document.

In the next step, you will learn your registration status. If your institution requires it, download and install our supervision software (SMOWL CM and/or browser extension) by clicking download or install.

Problems with registration?
