Installation Process for macOS Catalina

  • Step 1: Uninstall the current version Uninstall the current version of SMOWL CM installed on your computer.

  • Step 3: Install SMOWL CM Once downloaded, find the SCM.dmg file in your "Downloads" folder and double-click it to run. In the window that appears, drag the SMOWL CM icon to the "Applications" folder. You can verify that the installation was successful by looking for "SmowlCM" in your "Applications" folder.

  • Step 4: Grant the necessary permissions For SMOWL CM to function correctly, it is essential that you grant it Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions.

Screen Recording Permissions:

  • Open "System Settings" (or "System Preferences") from the Apple menu in the top-left corner.

  • Go to "Privacy & Security" (or "Security & Privacy") and find the "Screen Recording" option.
