Now that SMOWL has been integrated into your environment, whether in a test or production environment, it is time to train the evaluators to effectively use the tool.
The evaluators will have received an invitation for training as established in the timeline, and they can share the meeting link with various attendees. If they have not received the invitation, they can schedule the session directly through this link.
3.1. Evaluator Training:
During this session, evaluators will receive detailed training on how to use SMOWL from their perspective. This includes how to configure and manage monitored exams, as well as how to interpret the results obtained to ensure the integrity of the assessments.
Additionally, they will be advised on how to inform and sensitize students about the use of SMOWL, highlighting the importance of academic integrity and how the tool contributes to maintaining it.
3.2. Delivery of Materials:
Evaluators will receive information on where to find user support materials. These resources include explanatory documents that facilitate the understanding and use of SMOWL.
They will also be provided with specific materials for evaluators, including detailed manuals and best practices for managing monitored exams and interpreting proctoring results.
3.3. Communication Channels:
The main point of contact for evaluators will be the platform administrators, who have already been previously trained. These administrators will be able to offer support and resolve any questions or issues related to the use of SMOWL.
If additional support is needed, evaluators can also use the support chat available within the LMS, where they will receive real-time technical assistance.
